Recycled Wool Yarn

Posted by Ronnie on December 9, 2011 at 6:55 AM

Today I wanted to share a picture of a scarf I knitted from recycled cashmere and lambswool yarn.  Basically, I take sweaters, new or used, wash thoroughly and unravel the yarn. This scarf was crocheted using two strands. The ends are one strand cashmere and one strand navy lambswool. I like the effect though I am going to make another one using just one color.

(This is from a free pattern I found on ravelry. It is titled "Queen Anne's Lace Scarf" by Khebhin Gibbons. Here is the link: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/queen-annes-lace-scarf.)
