I decided to make a bunch of wash cloths for the family to use. Okay, maybe not the whole family. Just my daughter and I. Is that mean? It's just my husband and son could care less what the washcloths look like or are made of. Okay, okay maybe I'll may a few for them to use.
Anyway, here are pictures. I wanted something simple that I could make while watching television but that also had a nice stitch and looked elegantly handmade.
Here is the link to the pattern: here . on the Little House in the Suburbs blog. Her's is titled, "Pima Face Cloth" but mine is not made from pima cotton. It is Aunt Lydia size 3 combined with one strand of white size 10 crochet thread. I did two of these. I'm going to do a few using just size 10 thread. It will be smaller but I think it will work well for my daughter whose hands aren't used to wringing out large cloths yet.
